ROG Ally z1e ps5 remote Play Setup

Setup

ps5 remote play is not as seamless as I had hoped. The problem is that even through there is an offical PS5 Remote Play App for windows, it requires a PS5 Controller. ROG Ally Controls do not work natively with it. One workaround is to pay for some app called WASD to remap controls and fool the official remote play app into thinking we are using a PS5 Controller. Still it seems there are also other applications like PS Play and Chiaki that can also do this but they also seem invlude video?

  3. Enable Remote Play

PSN Account ID

Must be 8 Bytes encoded as base 64. We need to get our PSN Account ID as explained here. This is NOT our email login. How to get PSN Account ID then we need to base 64 encode that ID.

  2. Get into your profile
  3. enable developer tools
  4. Under Network look for
  5. Request
  6. https://commerce.api.np.km.playstation.net/commerce/api/v1/users/me/account/id
    7. Request Method: GET {"accountId":VALUE IS ID
Base64? This is all BS. We can use this https://psn.flipscreen.games/. OR even better just click the public look up button in Chaiki NG. Use your email without the at symbol.

Remote Play PIN

  1. Go to Settings on your PS5
  2. Select System
  3. Scroll down to Remote Play
  4. Select Link Device
  5. A code will appear on your screen

Seems to be the newest version of chiaki to play ps5 on rog ally. Free. Think I will try this first.
